My name is Kylie Sheapp, and I am in my 6th year of teaching. I taught first grade for 5 years, and I thought I would stay in the primary grades forever. After lots of thought and feeling almost bored, I decided to step into the upper grades and give third grade a try! So here I am, teaching third grade.
After I graduated from Sherwood High School, I went to Towson University and graduated in 2017 with my bachelors of science in Elementary Education and Special Education. In 2021, I completed a post-graduate certificate program in Equity and Excellence in Education from McDaniel. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Hood College.
Within my classroom, I’m passionate about fostering a love for learning and creating as well as an independence in and out of the classroom. I believe that ALL student are capable and have great potential, and anything is possible with intentional and meaningful relationship building.
I enjoy creating, exploring, and traveling, and I believe that you must continue to push yourself outside of where you are comfortable in order to continue to grow and improve,
